Batman Begins Cast
Who do you think is the best villain and actor to be in the next Batman film?
And what should the story be about?
I know this has been asked so many times before but I just want some opinions, thanks.
Personally, I would love for David Tennant to play the Riddler (unfortunately he’s denied the rumor). He has the right height, face structure, and body build. It would have been brilliant casting.
By the way, if you notice in Batman Begins they mentionthe villains in the sequel: When he’s drunk at the party he says, “You two-faced phonies,” and at the end they mention The Joker’s homicides.
And in The Dark Knight Morgan Freeman says “It’ll do fine against cats,” A nod to Catwoman. Hmmm…..
Roganator you must be joking. Having Jim Carrey and Halle Berry (who was complete garbage in the original) again as the villains would end up as a total flop. Christopher Nolan is looking for a realistic tone, not a campy one like Joel Shumacher.

I would love it if they threw in Harley Quinn, the Penguin, or Poison Ivy (not reminiscent of Uma Thurman’s performance…), but I’ll settle for the Riddler and Catwoman.
As for the Riddler, Johnny Depp is very versatile and would suit the role. And Catwoman should definitely not be played by Halle Berry. Maybe Angelina Jolie could pull it off, even if I don’t think she’s the greatest actress…but I like the idea of Maggie Gyllenhaal being brought back after losing one of her “nine lives”, but she isn’t my favorite actress either. A bit of new blood couldn’t hurt, though.
There’s always my favorite Catwoman, Michelle Pfeiffer, but I doubt she’d be cast again.
