Batman Beyond Dvd
Why can’t my DVD drive play all my Region 2 DVDs?
I have a Toshiba A320 Satellite laptop with a region 2 DVD drive. I can play some of my R2 DVDs on them but not all. For example, I can’t play Batman Beyond, or the German versions of Babylon 5 Season 2. I would have thought that the drive would play any and all R2 DVDs. I tried to use both Windows Media Player (version 10) plus InterVideo. The DVDs play fine on my normal DVD player. Is there something I need to download or fix?
You could try downloading and installing the Klite Mega Codec Pack that comes with Media Player Classic.
The Media Player Classic is a robust, old, extremely versatile Player and it’ll use the gamut of codecs [compression decompression softwares] that this pack carries. Being as robust as it is, the Media Player Classic will play even partially damages clips and the Codec Pack has, literally, every known Codec there is! You can choose from the two versions available there.
You won’t face the problem again.
