Golden Age Comic Book Sales?
I’m doing a report on superheroes in comic books, and I can’t seem to find the stats on how many were sold in the 30s and 40s. I’m focusing on Superman, Batman, Captain Marvel, and Captain America.

But even they don’t have much before 1960′s. According to the site, circulation numbers were not required to be published until 1960 so the information was not available. The site may have some other leads to help you out.
