Do you think the Dark Knight “glorifies violence” as they say?
Yes, the new Dark Knight movie is violent. Very violent. But that’s how action movies are. What do you expect? A cookie-cutter Batman to catch the baddies and get a pizza at the end of the day to celebrate like in some Disney movie? That’s not how it works in real life, and it’s not how it works in the Dark Knight. The violence was unavoidable.
I mean, sure, we have Batman hitting a lot of people (like that’s new?), but who WOULDN’T want to beat the Joker with a stick? If I could jump into the movie, I would.

Absolutely NOT.
-Batman never kills. That’s his one rule and it’s honorable
-The violent killers are condemned
-The violence in the movie isn’t gory, unrealistic, or glorified to look really cool. The gadgets are what is cool. All they do is overturn cars and punch people.
If you want to see a movie that glorifies violence, see “Wanted.” The Dark Knight had enough to have action, thrills and a storyline, and no more. It’s one of the least violent movies in theatres right now.
