Batman Forever Dvd

batman forever dvd
Just how bad are my DVD’s going to look to 18 to twenty somethings, in 2027?

I will be 43 in 2027.
And i am a bit worried that DVDs are going to become like 8-tracks are today. I am Super glad, that i hardly ever bought any Videotapes, otherwise i would be even more bitter today at the advent of HD Blu-Ray.

Luckilly, I only ever bought Gattacca, and Batman Forever and i think maybe 1 or 2 other films on Videotape. (Thank Goodness)

My CRT TV blew up 3 weeks ago, i didn’t Buy LCD the very Micron they came out, partly because they were A RIP-OFF price, and partly because i am (probally) (part) Twixter. :=P
My LCD arived last week, and i am shocked at how rubbish my dvd’s look on them. i (do) own quite a few (DVD’s.)

Am i going to feel as bad as 8-track owners feel today, by 2034.

Why can people just stick with the same technology for 300 years??

Mate, you’re screwed. I’m 43 this year – when I was 18 it was all C60 tapes and vinyl LPs; VHS and Betamax were still battling it out and channel 4 was still the new boy on British TV. I remember going to see Electric Dreams at the movies along with Beverly Hills Cop, Footloose and Ghostbusters.

Oh yeah, and it was the year that you were born. I was absolutely fine until I read your question – now I just feel old, very, very old! Thanks a bunch, I’m off to listen to my Lionel Richie and Randy Newman LPs.

Batman Forever: Music From The Motion Picture

Sweeping irresistibly forward like some dream hybrid of Ziggy Stardust, Kashmir-era Zeppelin and German techno, U2′s massive “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me” launches this disc. Also included are tracks by Brandy (the Lenny Kravitz-produced “Where Are You Now?”), Seal (“Kiss from a Rose”), Eddi Reader (“Nobody Lives Without Love”), and The Devlins (“Crossing the River”). The Batman Legacy (Four Film Giftset) [VHS]

$9.99

For fans and newcomers, this boxed set holds a great collection, including all four great movies. The first in the series, Batman (1989), and arguably the best of the four movies, exudes the moodiness of the Dark Knight’s character. Tim Burton’s direction and Michael Keaton’s rendition of Batman are an electrifying combo. Together they capture the sinister atmosphere of Gotham City and Batman’s da…

Batman Begins explores the origins of the Batman legend and the Dark Knight’s emergence as a force for good in Gotham. In the wake of his parents’ murder, disillusioned industrial heir Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travels the world seeking the means to fight injustice and turn fear against those who prey on the fearful. He returns to Gotham and unveils his alter-ego: Batman, a masked crusader who …

Batman Collection: Four Film Favorites (Batman / Batman Returns / Batman Forever / Batman & Robin)

$13.09

Batman Thanks to the ambitious vision of director Tim Burton, the blockbuster hit of 1989 delivers the goods despite an occasionally spotty script, giving the caped crusader a thorough overhaul in keeping with the crime fighter’s evolution in DC Comics. Michael Keaton strikes just the right mood as the brooding “Dark Knight” of Gotham City; Kim Basinger plays Gotham’s intrepid reporter Vicki Vale;…

Batman Begins (Two-Disc Deluxe Edition)

Batman Begins (Two-Disc Deluxe Edition)

$13.21

Batman Begins discards the previous four films in the series and recasts the Caped Crusader as a fearsome avenging angel. That’s good news, because the series, which had gotten off to a rousing start under Tim Burton, had gradually dissolved into self-parody by 1997′s Batman & Robin. As the title implies, Batman Begins tells the story anew, when Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) flees Western civilizat…
