Batman Forever Toys
Do you think McDonald’s and Burger King were upset they couldn’t market “The Dark Knight” to kids?
Should they have? I think I saw some fast food place with Batman and Joker toys in the kids meal for TDK but they didn’t really stress it the way they did with Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. Do you think they could have helped the movie make even MORE money? If you’re a parent, how would you feel about Joker toys in your kids Happy Meal?
Probably. Fast food joints are always trying to get more people coming into their businesses, and an easy way to do that is to offer toys to kids.
The Dark Knight is not a movie for young kids, so that they put out toys at all for it with a kids meals is somewhat odd to me. But still not surprising.
I was at a screening of The Dark Knight last weekend, and there was this selfish mother there with two kids who couldn’t have been any older than 4, and the boy was talking all throughout the movie.
