Batman Heart Of Ice
What is your favorite Batman animated series episode and why? Please incorporate the why.?
Mine is iam the night and heart of ice because i felt the emotion of those episodes was real. Iam the night you see how death can really change a person and how almost losing someone, how the daily struggle of trying to be a decent person can be draining. For heart of ice because you can see how even the most coldest, most tough person is actually in some respects a person who desires love and may have had it but knows they can never have it again and the pain is unbearable.
It is hard to pick a favourite because there were so many good episodes – Batman TAS (and the few that followed) were great and the best representations of Batman on screen. I couldn’t stand The Batman and Batman Beyond, because I felt they had dumbed it down a little and didn’t have the same class and style.
There were a few stand out episodes for me, such as ‘Christmas With The Joker’ where Joker escapes from prison on a rocket-propelled Christmas tree, ‘The Forgotten’ where Batman is working undercover and gets amnesia, to wake up in a chain gang, ‘Heart of Ice’, ‘Almost Got Im’…. I could go on and on…
