Batman Knightfall
what happens in the batman knightfall stories?
who are the evil guys? who are the good guys?
The main villain in the Knightfall story arc is Bane. He has three henchmen named Trogg, Zombie, and Bird.
Bane destroys Arkham Asylum which frees the Joker, Poison Ivy, Riddler, Killer Croc, Zsaaz, Fire Fly, and every other one of Batman’s rogues.
The good guys at that point are Batman, Robin, Jean Paul Valley (Azrael), Commissioner Gordon and Alfred of course.
Bane studies Batman as he captures all of the freed inmates then he finally confronts Batman in the Batcave and hands his ass to him forcing Bruce to pass the mantle of the Bat over for awhile.
