Why are we longing for the past?
It doesn’t take a genius to notice that many action movie heroes of the past are coming back: Indiana Jone, Rocky, Spiderman, Superman, Batman, etc. If you are a video game fan than you cannot miss the recent coming back of Street Fighter. One of the biggest hit on Youtube right now is the Angry Video Game Nerd who rants about past NES games. And he’s not the only one.
My question is: Why are past things coming back and welcome heartily by us (myself especially)? What’s the attraction?
Because our freedoms are being taken, and life in the USA is not what it was 20 years ago. We didn’t know when we had it good.
