Batman Novels In Order

batman novels in order
Hardcore Batman comic fans!!!…I need your help?

Alright so i just ordered Batman Year One #1- #6 I believe, and I want to read a chain of sequals that tell the batman story all the way up to Batman The Dark Knight Returns? maybe? Idk thats why I got you guys. I read the modern batman comics timeline of wikipedia but I saw in reviews that some of them are actually retold in a sense (I read that Batman Dark victory was a redone version of Long Holloween). I don’t have the time to read all batman graphic novels (maybe in the future) but I need a good sequal set of comic/graphic novels too read threw…Feel free to write me a novel explaining to me which ones I should read if you have to I’d really appreciate it.

I’ll vote a 5 star best answer…Thanks guys

Batman Begins is loosely based on Year One, but the current movies aren’t really based on any comics. Nolan is making his own Batman his own way. If you want to read some cool Batman stories I recommend the current Batman Inc story arch, it’s pretty kickass! Also The Long Halloween is a great detective story, and Hush is friggin’ amazing! The Dark Knight Returns features Bane, so maybe read Knightfall.
If you really want to read books with a sequel, just get into the current books. Every new issue is a sequel to the last issue lol.

Scott Snyder: For me it was exciting because we were given the opportunity to work on characters we love with no restrictions. So if the best story meant making changes to a character’s history, there was flexibility to do so. With an imitative this big, seeing how…

Watchmen

$11.14

Has any comic been as acclaimed as Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ Watchmen? Possibly only Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns, but Watchmen remains the critics’ favorite. Why? Because Moore is a better writer, and Watchmen a more complex and dark and literate creation than Miller’s fantastic, subversive take on the Batman myth. Moore, renowned for many other of the genre’s finest creations (Saga …
