Batman Oracle
The Batman/Superman Relationship?
Superman and Batman are almost polar opposites in the DC Universe, regardless of whether both pursue justice they do it along different means. For example
Superman’s secret identity is Clark Kent, where Bruce Wayne is just a mask for Batman.
Clark Kent is the most powerful man alive while Bruce Wayne is the richest man alive.
Both are orphans, but Clark was adopted where Bruce was not.
Clark is a leader and follows the law to the letter, where Bruce is not a team player and bends and breaks the law as a vigilante.
Except for in organizations like JL, Clark works alone where Batman relies on contacts and allies such as Gordon, Oracle, Nightwing, etc.
But most importantly where Batman can take the fall, where he can be hated and despised, Superman cannot.
What other major contrasts between these two characters are there?
This happened once in a tale i read: Superman knows when to back off and batman does not
Batman and Superman met and batman had a kryptonite bomb. If he set it off, superman would die, but the nature of the blast would kill batman as well. Batman had no qualms in detonating it. If superman would stay out of his way, there would be no problems
