Who would win? Sentry(Marvel) or Superman (DC)?

Sentry, the man with the power of 1000 exploding suns. His molecules are an instant ahead of everyone elses and has seemingly limitless power.

Or superman, the man of steel.
(pre crisis, and post crisis, if the answer is different).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman

I would give this one hands down to sentry. Batman has repeatedly been able to defeat superman and the only person able to beat sentry Iron Man, did so only because he was prepared to do it with a mind scrambling device/power. Superman has no such powers, he would not be able to defeat someone who is quicker (his molecules are an instant ahead of superman) and is stronger (has seemingly limitless powers and his only weakness is mental, superman is not an intelligent character to even figure this out).

what do you think?

well i agree with you. But you also have to consider that Superman’s power are drawn from the sun; if Sentry has the power of 1000 exploding suns he could be beating up and charging up Superman at the same time. But if we just go down to the basic yes Superman would lose, he’s veryyy strong but he’s not the strongest character ever, but he is smart, and he could figure out how Sentry’s powers work, but unlike Batman,Superman wouldn’t be able to calculate how to counter attack, so he would give a very good very cool fight but would lose. But there’s a twist Superman and Batman are like peanut butter and jelly, if they were teamed up(like they always are) with Batman as the brain and Superman the muscle they would probably win
