superhero?

what are some superhero couples??

that would be equal and not like a sidekick (like batman & his sidekick robin) but more like bonnie & clyde

()
not necessarily superheroes, tho. anyone thats at least a little common

I love this question, because the couples in comics really make the stories interesting.

Here are a few that I remember and know of …

1. Giant Man and the Wasp

This couple was one of the first that I can remember in the comics. They were featured in the early 60′s in Marvel Comics and was also together in the very first Avengers. I have enjoyed their on and off romantic adventures over the years. Recently, they were featured in the Ultimate Avengers. Giant Man took on other powers, costumes and names such as Ant man and Yellow Jacket.

2. Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Girl/Woman

How could we forget this incredibly and powerful couple in the history of comics. Not only do they make up two of the most gifted characters in the super group known as the Fantastic Four, they truly balance each other out. Reed Richards and Susan Storm Richards were fantastically in love.

3. Daredevil and the Black Widow

Many young readers will not remember that Daredevil was once in love with an amazingly powerful and deadly Russian Super Spy known as Natasha Romanoff aka the Black Widow. Their exploits together in the late 60′s and early seventies were steamy. Even the fact that Daredevil stole the Widow from the Avenging Archer known as Hawkeye.

4. Green Arrow and the Black Canary

These two are hotter than Johnny Storm’s hands. Really. And she is great for old Ollie, helping to keep him calm throughtout his trying to save every human cause that hits the landscape.

5. Namor the Sub-Mariner and Lady Dorma

Namor is a type of guy like Thor, where he forgets how truly fine, the women of his kingdom are, compared to the surface dwellers. The problem with Dorma is that she has such a betraying spirit, that Namor never knows if she is for him or the next devilish villain attempting become ruler of Atlantis.

6. Thor the God of Thunder and Lady Sif

Lady Sif gets a bad wrap from the God of Thunder because he cannot help his affection for the human Jane Foster. The thing is though, Lady Sif is an out of this world hottie who puts Foster to shame. Plus, Sif would have Thor’s back when the going gets tough.

7. Spider-Man and Black Cat

When the Black Cat was first introduced, I did not believe this couple would survive. See the thing is with Felicia; her character was much like Catwoman and with Peter’s love for MJ, the ever gorgeous, Ms. Hardy would only complicate things drastically.

8. Captain America and the Falcon

This was more like a side kick, but was very interesting at the time.

9. Luke Cage aka Power Man and Iron Fist

Reading these two interesting characters in their own team-up mag was really fun. This could make and interesting film. Hint, Hint, Marvel Entertainment.

10. Wildcat and Catwoman

The character Wildcat is one of my favorite because he really does’nt have powers, just a pure and powerful fighter. This makes his involvement with Catwoman even more intriguing, because she has no powers either. These two are full of skill, skill, skill.

My final and favorite choice…….

11. The Black Panther and Storm

When I saw that Marvel had brought these two together romantically and finally through matrimony, I was extremely happy. This was on the same level as Reed and Sue, because these were two heroes. The African couple also took over for the two FF love birds which proved that Marvel is truly the House of Ideas. This couple can stand the test of time with great writing and art.

Oh, I forgot….

A few others, Captain America and Sharon Carter; Conan and Red Sonja; Conan and Belit; Nightwing and Batgirl/Oracle; Black Bolt and Medusa; Johnny Storm and Crystal

I know that I am forgeting a host of others…
